I don’t know if that’s very smart to make so many copies of your credit cards, or email them to yourself, or write the numbers in your travel book…

  • monasterysleep says:

Why not save on accommoadation by staying in a convent or a monastery. These days, thousands of them offer tourists cheap, clean, safe and well-located acccommodation. Especially in Europe and the UK – even in Australia!

Um, that’s not a fanny pack, it’s a money belt. Most backpackers use them. They go UNDER your clothes, not on top like a fanny pack. It’s for hiding your passport and important stuff.

because if you live in America and your card is randomly used in Turkey or Thailand, that’s kinda weird? Those places are halfway round the world… I mean, if you’re British, and your card’s used in France, that’s not so outrageous to think about. But I mean, I had to tell my bank when I went to California because that is on the other side of the US from where I live, and my bank is local to my town.

  • britphone says:

why would a bank block your card cause its used in another country?Hello? travelling is the most normal thing in the world. Or are just the american banks a little spying too much on their customers?

This lady sucks. Who actually travels with a fanny pack? That screams “I’m a traveler please steal from me” stupid cunt

  • bizzy400 says:

all this chick is doing is telling you have to get your credit card stolen and not even fucking budget shit shes just manageing

Can you really bank $43,945.75 in 30 days with ZERO investment? Here’s what I know about it. People will do it with this… Passive Income Advice [dot] com.

the money belts are a little tricky… you want to find one that is made of fabric that breathes and doesn’t get all sweaty from being between your sweating skin and your clothes. Oh how nice it is to pull soggy money out of your pants and hand it to a vendor…they love that!!..especially in Paris!

These days, I’d take Euros with me, rather than $US.

GREAT point about calling the banks before you travel. I was recently in SanFrancisco and the bank blocked my debit card because I was spending money in a different state! They did it without trying to call me first. They also did it to me when I was in Miami, but at least they called first that time. Your suggestion should prevent that problem occurring.

‘fraid I agree with others: DON’T email your passport/credit card details to yourself.

dude it totally agree…i don’t think puttin your credit card numbers on the world wide web is the safest thing, you know how easy it is to hack into email accounts…idts!

  • ishm0 says:

Filling your pack/inbox with copies of your credit card numbers might not be the best idea…
